Non-Compounding Original Principal Rule (10%/Month)
Monthly interest is strictly 10% of the Original Principal, not the declining outstanding balance. Partial payments never reduce the interest base. Payments apply to unpaid interest first, then to principal. If borrower still owes ₱200, next month's interest is still ₱1,000 (10% of ₱10,000), not ₱20.
